How many leaders does it take to change a light bulb in your workplace? Chances are, they’ll delegate it. But you can’t delegate leadership. In fact, especially in 2012, you shouldn’t be running a business where leaders deflect responsibility.

Don’t reach for the stars

The goal was simple. Spell the words correctly and the gold star was mine. Get it right the next week and I’d be looking at two stars. Being slightly competitive I underwent a strict training regime. Work was taken home for evening review.
